The Metropolitan Nashville Public School System requires a Criminal Background Check (CBC) on all new employees. The total cost of the CBC is $48 which includes a TBI and FBI report. The entire cost ($48) is the responsibility of the employee and is due before being fingerprinted.

A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND REPORT MUST BE ON FILE BEFORE YOU CAN START WORK. A MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS IS NEEDED TO PROCESS THE FINGERPRINTS. ALLOW 24 HOURS FOR FINGERPRINTING REGISTRATION TO BE PROCESSED.
