Ms. Jamie Menzie grew up in Nashville, TN. She attended Vanderbilt University where she received her Bachelor of the Arts in English. After college, Ms. Menzie worked for a book publishing company in New York. She then attended graduated school at Peabody College at Vanderbilt where she received her Masters in Secondary Education in English.
Ms. Menzie teaches English III and IV and is Hillwood's National Vocabulary Championship sponsor. Her favorite author is John Irving, and she has written two novels: Walking Blind and Diary of an Anorexic Girl.
