Other Opportunities:

College for TN Application Week- Create your account by Nov. 18th at www.CollegeforTN.org. Report to the media center at your appointed time, and we will assist you as you apply to college(s).

Open Houses or Campus Previews are a GREAT way to learn more about college opportunities. Call the admissions office at any college you are interested in applying. Ask for a campus tour/visit. They will gladly arrange time for you to check things out. You can even sit in on a class if you like. Just let them know.

Deadline to register for the February ACT is January 5th.

All seniors should definitely take this if it’s your first or second time to take the ACT.

FAFSA

FINANCIAL AID MEETING with you and your parents will be held in the auditorium on December 1st at 6:15 p.m. A representative from TSAC (the lottery scholarship people) will be here to answer questions about filling out the FAFSA. Any student planning to attend any type of educational program next year must complete the FAFSA. This process begins in January. Mark your calendars and plan to be here.
