Please visit individual pages to get information on the many programs at Hillwood Comprehensive High School.  Hillwood has the following programs:
  1. Guidance- Hillwood's guidance counselors begin working with students before they get to Hillwood. Hillwood offers a custom made program of study for all entering students, and offers excellent support for students making application for colleges, university, and vocational schools.
  2. Library- Our Hillwood Library offers students up-to-date instructions in using online resources, and Hillwood student have Facts on File online book resource, the only school to provide this 24 hour resource.  The  book collection supports the diverse curriculum of Hillwood and provides for student's recreational reading.
  3. Academic Programs-
    1. Avid- A program to provide skills needed for students to take college preparatory classes.
    2. ELL- English Language Learner classes to help International students to achieve English fluency and to pass the required Gateway and End-Of-Course test required for graduation.
    3. International Baccalaureate Program- This prestigious program offers students an official IB diploma, a honor that assists students in getting scholarships and entrance into premier colleges and universities. 
  4. Art & Music- Hillwood offers Fine Arts, Choral Music, Graphic Arts and Photography, Performing arts, and an award winning Band program.  Please visit the pages to find out more about our programs of study.
