The Hillwood High School Student Government Association (SGA) is composed of student leaders at all grade levels. The Student Government Association is composed of representatives from all four grade levels at this school, Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, and Senior classes.   In addition, a SGA student body president is elected to preside over the SGA. the election of student representatives takes place the spring of each year.

Besides meeting regularly to work with the school adminstration and staff to work on school improvements, the SGA in involved in service activies.  This fall, the SGA coorded the Fall Food Drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.  Other charitable services are organized throughour the year.  

To be a SGA representive, the student must meet the grade requirements, and get the recommendation from the faculty in order to become a candidate for SGA.   Last year, student got to vote using actual voting booths.
