Requirements for a IB Diploma
 

Requirements for an IB Diploma:

  1. All IB diploma students must take six examinations.
  2. Students must select a minimum of two and a maximum of three standard level (SL) exams.
  3. Students must select a minimum of three and a maximum of four high level (HL) exams.
  4. While HL may be only taken in grade 12, two SL exams may be taken in grade 11.
  5. The level of the exam is determined by the preparation.
  6. Students also take a seventh class, Theory of Knowledge (TKO) in grade 12, write an extended 4000 word essay of original work and complete 150 hours of a Creative, Action, and Service (CAS) activity.
